♥ INFORMATION -- Ginny Weasley is a very spirited, independent young woman. She's brave, intelligent, witty and will stand up for what she believes in. She can be a bit naive and can sometimes make decisions too quickly without thinking them through, but for the most part she's a pretty rational person. She is very skilled with Charms and Transfiguration, and is known to have quite a lethal temper when provoked. She is also a professional Quidditch player, and volunteers at St. Mungo's as a nurse during her down time.
♥ WHAT SHE NEEDS -- It has been three years since the Battle of Hogwarts, and Ginny is currently single so she's open for love plots like crushes, flings, flirts, etc. However, anything that involves a relationship will be short-lived since her heart still belongs to Harry and she wants to get back together with him - which she will be, eventually. As far as friends go, Ginny is popular and used to being surrounded by a lot of friends so bring them on. Her obvious enemies are former Slytherins but there might be a few she could possibly get along with. I'm up for anything, so throw out any ideas you have! The more dramatic, the better! <3

I could see that these two probably had gotten close in the time that Connie and George had dated, and Connie probably would have seen Ginny as a little sister, defending her dating options against George - pointing out he had been dating a Slytherin, after all - and even against the others in her house during Hogwarts in her seventh year. They could have stayed friends after everything that happened! Maybe Ginny lectured her often about the fact she was living with Draco after the war while the two volunteer at St. Mungos together?

Hiiye, Chels. :3 Is there any chance of plottage for Alice and Ginny as friends or acquiantences? Alice was former slytherin, but she isn't a supremist, and given her job, I think she'd be interested in interviewing Ginny about being a Quidditch player or something~

Most definitely! Besides Hermione and Luna, Ginny doesn't really have any close girlfriends and having Connie around is definitely a good thing for her. She'd appreciate having someone to back her up against her brothers in the absence of the other two girls, and they would have bonded over the years. So, despite the occasional lectures/arguments, I see them still being really close friends!

Definitely! I don't think it would be an instantaneous friendship between the two, but perhaps after Alice interviews her about the Harpies they could get closer and eventually become friends? It would also help that Alice is close to Connie, and so is Ginny.

Soooo, they would have been in the same year. I believe she's a few weeks older than him. So, i'm sure they would have had a few classes together. I believe we've already decided these two are gonna date. He'll be slightly nervous of that fact that Harry was her last Ex, and he'll be scared that the Hero who saved the wizarding world will come after him xD Add/Subtract?

That sounds great to me~! Starting the friendship off slow leaves room for character development and gives us a chance to see how they get along and the ability to find out where the strong tie of friendship is directing because obviously people won't like every single thing about eachother.

Seeing how Ginny is Geo's baby sister he would be concerned for her welfare. However at the same time he knows that she is strong enough to take care of herself. However that doesn't mean he won't give her a hard time about her love life. However thats not to say that Ginny herself doesn't give George a run for his money either.

Love interest of course. Though he broke up with her, Harry still has deep feeling for Ginny. Since he has had three years to work out problems in his life, I think it will be one of his top priorities to get her back. He would probably go to any level to make sure they get back to where they were.

Yup, they definitely would have had classes together and gotten to know each other at Hogwarts. I think, at first, she'd be slightly hesitant to date him because she's still got feelings for Harry, but when they do date it'll probably be really cute. As soon as she hears that Harry's got eyes for someone else, she'll definitely drop the hesitation. Of course, we all know she and Mikey won't last, but when they break up I do still see them being friends and deciding it was better that way.

Character and relationship development is definitely a good thing xD Obviously it won't be a perfect friendship, but what friendship is? So, I say we begin with the interview thread and go from there. What do you think?

Naturally, I wouldn't expect anything less from these two. Their bantering is always fun, and it's all because they care about each other so much so there's no harm in it at all. She'd be concerned about him and how he's doing without Fred, so we could probably build a thread on that if you'd like? Maybe she goes to check up on him or he comes to see her on a day off? Either one works, unless you have a different idea.

Well, we've discussed this a bit but yes, we're going canon with these. Of course, it's not going to be an easy process since she won't like hearing that he has an interest in someone else, and will be even less happy when she finds out it's one of her friends. She's also going to be dating Mikey somewhere before she and Harry figure things out so that'll cause some drama too. She does still love him and will want him back too, but they'll have to get past all the drama first. If anything, all of that will probably just bring them closer. So, any ideas on a thread to start them off?

HERMIONE & GINNY [/b][/color] Sisters--well without the blood tying them together. Ginny and Hermione were almost inseparable when it came to summer vacations at the burrow. Ginny was one of the only friends that was a female that Hermione had. So best friends and sister like relationship. Let me know what you think.
