strengths;;
- Potions: While a student at Hogwarts, Constance was extremely gifted in Potion making, due to the fact her mother and her aunt were both Potioneers. It seemed to be a talent passed down through them.
- Defense Against the Dark Arts: As a Hit Witch, she has to know defensive charms and counter-curses, as well as having to received five O.W.L.s (Defense Against the Dark Arts). She is a younger member of the force, but she’s good at her job.
- Understanding & Compassion: Having lost her parents at a young age, she knows what it feels like to lose people that she loved. While Constance was able to eventually forgive her brother after he explained what happened, she never really hated the man despite what she stated. She’s a very good listener, and she likes to just be there for her loved ones.
weaknesses;;
- Temperamental: While she tries to avoid it showing, Constance does have a rather cold temper when it shows. It’s something that made it clear that she was related to her older brother, as well as her father. She doesn’t let it be seen until the final breaking point, in which pressure has finally built onto her and she snaps.
- Manipulation: Due to a very close friendship with Draco Malfoy and being around the other Slytherin, she does have a bit of a manipulative streak depending on her mood. When she feels that she’s being lied to, Constance can usually worm her way into getting the answers that satisfy her.
- Tries to hide emotions: Unless she trusts someone completely, she tries (and fails) to hide certain emotions in front of people if she feels that they might belittle her. Constance often feels weak compared to some, and she can let it get the best of her because a past issue with self esteem.
habits;;
- When faced with a serious problem, she steps back and tries to figure out every possible outcome.
- When something bothers her, she keeps herself busy so she doesn’t have to think about it (i.e. reading, running, playing guitar, baking).
- She has to keep her nails clean and trimmed ever since she was in Quidditch.

Memory 1: Constance’s best memory is from when she was nine years old. Her father and mother had bought her first guitar for her birthday due to her constant asking to borrow her father’s; She spent several hours that night tuning it, cleaning it, and then played along with her father and mother in the front room while River watched on in amusement. After a short time, he even began to play his violin. This was the first and last time that her family was completely happy.
Memory 2: Eight months after the two began to date, Constance was rather surprised when George dropped the word ‘love’ on her, especially seeing she’d been wanting to say it for a little while by then. The entire memory creates a warm feeling in her heart, reminding her that even through all of the evil in the world, he created a sense of security, happiness, and love.[/ul]

Svetlana Michelle (née Sidorov) Markov – Aunt, Godmother, Potioneer at St. Mungos – Constance and her aunt are relatively close, especially seeing the woman took her in after Artesia’s death. As a Potioneer, Svetlana is a Potions expert, a trait that has been passed down to her niece, visible in her natural talent. She lives in Alcott Manor, with her niece, taking the care of making sure the young witch knows everything she needs to when it comes to Hogwarts and defending herself throughout the year. During her fifth year, the two would meet in Hogsmeade, and she would teach her niece how to produce a true Patronus.
Draco Malfoy – Best Friend, Former Slytherin, 20 years old – Despite everything in the past, the two are still very close and Constance has set her reputation and name on the line for him after the Battle of Hogwarts incident. They first became friends in their first year of Hogwarts, and while he was forced by the young woman in their sixth year to reveal what had been bothering him – the Dark Mark that had been branded into his skin – Constance never changed her opinion of Draco, even defending him on multiple occasions against her boyfriend at the time, George Weasley. When the couple split, Draco was inwardly pleased but he still continued to be his usual self. When the time came for them to show their true colors and loyalty at the Battle of Hogwarts, he was visibly annoyed with her, even going as far as telling her she should leave, but she stayed and fought. After the battle, Constance stayed with Draco and his family at Malfoy Manor. While they bicker and irritate each other, Draco is extremely important to her, and she cares a lot for him.Pre-planned with Shelby.
George Weasley – Ex-Boyfriend of 14 months, Former Gryffindor, Owner of Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes, Age 23 – The two dated for fourteen months, starting when Constance was a sixth year and he had left the school. While they snuck around, she found that he really made her happy and he made her feel safe. Eight months after they started dating, he dropped the word love on her, and Constance didn’t hesitate to return it, smiling, and ten months later, she gave him something rather important. George meant a lot to her, impacting her decision to stay at the Battle of Hogwarts, despite the fact that he had left her a few months before Easter in concern for her health and well being. When Constance witnessed his twin brother, Fred Weasley, being carried into the Great Hall, her heart froze and she had to leave quickly, thinking it was him. Later, she witnessed him standing beside his family while Neville was standing up to Voldemort and she felt even more respect for the man as they fought their hardest until Voldemort fell. While she didn’t go and check on him during the feast, she remained beside Draco, attended Fred’s funeral, and sent the family a bouquet of Orchids, and a separate letter to George filled of her condolences. She still, to this day, has strong feelings for him (love) and when he had broke off their relationship, it did hurt her. Pre-planned with Shoe[/ul]
history;;
During the funeral of their Headmaster, she sat beside Alice, whom she had become relatively good friends with, and ended up crying into the other’s shoulder. Shortly after, she left with the others, although she went to Diagon Alley a few days later, pointedly not hiding anything, and broke down in front of George. As summer came and went, Constance was still sixteen when the Battle Over Little Whinging happened, not knowing when it would take place, nor where it was going to happen until after the matter, finding out with a rather large amount of horror a few days later that George had lost his ear, and that one of the Order members had been killed. On August 1st, her birthday as well, Constance attended Bill and Fleur’s wedding with George, reacting to his ear in a bit of shock, even going as far as fainting in a combination of shock and the male having to catch her. When she regained consciousness, he was making a comment about how women fell into his arms, and in retaliation, she pinched him, muttering that she’d better be the only one falling into his arms before smoothing out her dress and taking his arm.
As Fred flirted with a pair of pretty French girls, Constance nudged George to tell him that he could go flirt while she took a seat, despite her stubborn and slightly possessive personality, knowing that he wouldn’t do anything to harm her. During the wedding, she sat beside George in the front row, listening to the words with a rather relaxed stance and smiling, while she’d only met Bill at that moment, she was pleased to see that they had a nice wedding – and as George stated, she could see why Mrs. Weasley had been so hesitant at first, Fleur was beautiful. The reception was eventful to say the least, she danced with her boyfriend first for a song, then was asked by “Barry Weasley” aka Harry Potter, George later explained, before she returned to his side and began lecturing Fred over something he’d said. All the mean time, the one-eared twin seemed oblivious to it, too happy for his brother. By the second time Constance convinced George to dance with her, misery struck as a lynx Patronus – Kingsley – appeared and announced that the Ministry had fallen. Almost instinctively, almost everyone began to leave, Constance grasping George’s arm as things fell down hill as panic erupted. She Apparated, reluctantly after telling him to keep what’s left of his body intact and kissed him, at the last moment and went to wait at Alcott Manor.
A couple weeks later, before she left for Hogwarts, she gave George possibly the most precious thing she held – her “innocence” – and she fell asleep listening to his heartbeat. The next day, Constance received word that Snape had been made Headmaster, as well as she paled when reading off the Dark Arts book, not bothering to wonder aloud while she let George read her school book list while she idly ran her finger along the silver Quidditch Captains badge that had fallen onto her lap when she had first opened it. October, after a month of misery of learning the Dark Arts, brought good news – her first every one year anniversary – and then next, Quidditch which she played her usual place as Chaser and reluctantly, after consideration, she began to play Keeper as her second choice.
A few months later, along with blistering weather, brought heartache for Constance as George left her because he believed that it was just too dangerous. While she had been expecting a few things from the Weasley, a break up wasn’t one, and it visibly stung her for a while, emotionally for a long time. The night that Harry returned to the castle and the Battle of Hogwarts ensued, Constance had been lying in the Common Room, holding a one-sided conversation with the giant squid when Slughorn began to raise the students from the bed. When he told her what was going on, Constance put on her shoes and went to grab Alice so she wouldn’t lose her. She was the first Slytherin to chose to stay and fight, even pulling her wand on Pansy Parkinson when the other Slytherin pointed out Harry and told everyone to grab him.
The first half of the Battle caused her to gain most of her injuries. While she had been dueling against the Death Eater Nott, he used a Blasting curse which she hit the ground to avoid and it connected with one of the tall windows, which exploded and her upper arm was cut open, as well as her thigh. Constance defeated him with the help of one of his fellow Death Eaters, her older brother, River. The man paid no attention to her when they both casted at the same time, River using the Avada Kedavra curse while she used the Jelly-brain jinx. As they faced each other, Constance held her wand at level, but her brother ignored it at least until what little happiness left the air, and the two siblings knew what was happening… as they heard a cold laugh. Their worst fears – Dementors and Greyback – came into sight, and they were practically backed into a wall. It ended up with River hexing Greyback, Constance warding off the Dementors. Then, as Voldemort called a retreat, the two began to talk - she having snatched his wand away out of hesitance of being around him. Constance was amazed to hear River thought being a Death Eater was the way to get what he wanted out of his life, but it turned out that it wasn't, that only he could get himself the things he wanted. After a few moments, she gave him back his wand and walked out, telling him that she never saw him, and then went to the Great Hall to search for Alice until she witnessed a familiar, red-headed Weasley being carried inside and she couldn’t tell which had been laid with the rest of the fallen. Before the tears could come, she exited without asking.
The second half of the war, Constance found herself dueling against Travers, a Death Eater obsessed with blood purity, telling her that she was as filthy as a “mud blood” for who she held her loyalty with. He insulted her brother, as well, but she tuned him out and fought her hardest as Parvati, her dueling partner, left to help Dean Thomas. As the Battle drew to a close, Constance was relieved yet saddened to find it was Fred that passed away, as well as learning the names of the others and she cheered when Voldemort fell. In addition to her earlier duel, she’d received several other injuries, the worst being the one that went through her braid – cutting her hair to her collarbone – and sliced open her shoulder. She let Madam Pomfrey heal it all with dittany before finding a seat comfortably beside the Malfoy family. Constance attended the funeral for Fred Weasley, and the memorials of several other fighters, before she sent a letter and flowers to the Weasley’s.
After the school was rebuilt, Constance returned to graduate before going into the Ministry as a Hit Witch, deciding against becoming a Potioneer because she knew that she could do more for Law Enforcement, and eventually do them both if she has enough time. She lived with Draco Malfoy and his parents, as a long-term guest at Malfoy Manor. When people began to question her sanity, Constance didn’t hesitate to defend any one of them and she even dared – with a threat directed at him – to put her name and reputation on the line for Draco when he began to search for a job. When she started off as a Hit Witch, she received a new broomstick – Nimbus 2001 – although she continued to user her Firebolt, pawning off the Nimbus.
Recently, the woman still feels certain emotions playing her like a harp, particularly while she’s alone, however her childish bickering with Draco keeps her content, as well as her job but what will this life have in store for her?[/ul]

If Constance seemed bothered by being snapped at, she didn’t allow it to show as she shrugged her shoulders, "No harm done, and I could always start it for you if you’re stuck.” She replied in her small voice, not missing that he hadn’t recognized her voice at first and jumped. The girl casually crossed her arms behind her back, a faint smile playing across her lips while she frowned in thought. Adrian’s parents, she vaguely remembered, were supporters of Voldemort - just like her brother. The only difference was that they hadn’t killed her parents, and thus, she could careless about them as long as they didn’t hurt Adrian.
"Hm. Suppose so.” Her cobalt eyes left Adrian’s fathers name once again to her older brother’s with a deeper frown etching itself against her lips. "He isn’t human. He never was.” He was one of the few that actually knew what happened to her parents. Back in her third year, which would have been his fourth, Constance had cried shortly after a Quidditch game and the male came across her. Whether their friendship started out of true concern about her, or out of pity, Constance didn’t want to know. All she knew was that Adrian was one of her closest friends these days, and she trusted him with her deepest secrets.
A dark shadow crept across her features for a moment after she studied River’s name along the others on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, and as she opened her mouth to say something, Adrian had moved and set a bottle of cleaning solution in front of her. The girl blinked and looked up at him. "No thank you.” She knew what he was asking, but even after all that her brother had did, the small Slytherin couldn’t bring herself to do it. "Sometimes even the unworthy should be honored.” Plus, it’d be a lot more interesting for her if she did end up taking her brother down, at least then there’d be one decent thing left about him.
Constance gently reached out, brushing her fingertips against the plaque. He was five years older than she was, and more fitting, at least in the stereotype, to be a Slytherin. Forcing her attention away from the plaque as Adrian spoke again, Constance frowned at the thought. "If I remember right, he does. Somewhere,” She sighed. Everyone, she knew, had an innocence point. She used to admire that about her brother, the fact she used to look up to him disgusts her to this day. Setting the bottle of solution near the rags, she walked slowly around the room as if in search for one of her parents, or her aunt’s, name.
If River had gotten something, then Jackson or her mother must have received a small trophy, or at least that was her logic. Perhaps it was just her desperation to know that there was something left that didn’t ruin the McCarthy name. Constance wasn’t someone very fond of awards, and she didn’t push herself into the obsession of receiving one. No, she had bigger plans. "I know, I’m going to miss you,” Constance responded softly as he collected the rags, "You’ll be able to leave, Adri, if I don’t have some connection elsewhere, how am I going to know my back is safe?” She smiled, peering over her shoulder at her friend. She did understand his reasoning; things were getting bad.
