- Hogwarts - Hogwarts gave Ginny a chance to spread her wings and fly away from the extremely sheltered, protected life that she had prior to receiving her letter. It was an amazing experience and it helped her find some close, life-long friends.
- Her family and friends – Ginny wouldn’t be where she is today without her family and friends. They are the people who were always there for her, helping and encouraging her to always do her best, and are the people who have shaped her into the young woman she is now. Establishing some long-term friendships is one thing that Ginny enjoys very much, and one thing that comes pretty naturally to her since she’s so outgoing and friendly. Her family also means the world to her, and she likes spending time with them whenever she can.
- Charms - This is Ginny's favourite class and she also excels in it. Her wand is perfect for spell casting, and she loves the sense of accomplishment she feels every time she masters a new spell.
- Reading - For Ginny, books provide an excellent escape from the real world. She likes nothing better than to lose herself inside the pages of a good book, and often pictures herself inside the world going on there. Sometimes, she even likes that world better than she does her own.
- Traveling - Ginny's love of traveling began when her family took a trip to Egypt. For her, the trip was educational, interesting and all around enjoyable and that triggered her desire to explore even more places around the world.
- Animals - Ginny is most definitely an animal lover; she loves all creatures and is especially fond of her Arnold, her pet Pygmy Puff. Another thing that Ginny enjoys is being outdoors, among nature and goes outside as much as she possibly can. She likes nothing better than sitting against a tree, staring out onto the lake either reading a book, doing some homework, or simply just enjoying the sunshine and warmth that usually surround the castle grounds.
- Quidditch - Quidditch is probably Ginny’s biggest form of entertainment, and takes every opportunity to play. In her sixth year, she tried out for the Gryffindor team as Chaser, and made it through. She held the position for the entire season, though she did substitute as Seeker when team Captain, Harry Potter, was unable to play, and helped Gryffindor win the Quidditch Cup that year. She doesn’t get the chance to play much anymore, however and sometimes, she misses it greatly.
- Harry Potter - It's no secret that the black haired, green eyed young man has Ginny's heart, and probably always will.
dislikes;;
- Liars/cheaters/players – Not all people in the world are likeable, and these types are the ones that Ginny absolutely cannot stand. When she is lied too, she takes it to heart and finds it hard to trust that person again. She hates people who strut around thinking that they’re better than everyone else, and hates arrogance and ignorance; those two personality flaws are big turn offs for her.
- Appearing weak and helpless – Ginny absolutely despises looking like a damsel in distress that cannot defend herself, and prefers to build a reputation as the strong, confident young woman she was raised to be. Luckily, this is the reputation she has.
- Being talked down to – Ginny hates being treated like a child. Her parents and brothers are especially bad for that. Her tendency to rebel against the rules came from the far too sheltered life that she lived growing up. From a young age, and because she was the youngest child (and only girl) and her parents were extremely overprotective of her, fussed over her, babied her, and were too paranoid to let her do most of the things she wanted too.
- Getting up early – While she has become used to this by now, Ginny is definitely not a morning person and needs a certain amount of sleep every night to ensure that she’s in a good mood when she wakes up.
- The Dark Arts – Being a kind-hearted, gentle person by nature means that Ginny despises anything that goes against that. Dark magic, in her opinion, never has good consequences and turns good people into complete monsters.
- Potions - This was Ginny's least favourite class at Hogwarts, and it' was mainly because of her experiences in the class when Professor Snape taught it. She did well in the class, but felt like her work was never good enough. She still loathes the subject, even now at the age of 20.
- Death Eaters – Ginny has a very great dislike of the former Dark Lord’s servants. There will always be a lingering hate for the people who made the Wizarding World live in fear and have caused many people to lose countless loved ones over the years - even if most of them are locked up in Azkaban by now.

rp sample;;The days were passing by more quickly now, and Ginny couldn't decide if she was glad about it or not. Homework was piling on, delaying leisure time for the students, especially those in fifth year. OWL time was still a long while away, and yet, Ginny was already feeling the stress of studying for them. She was one of those students who strived for excellence and tended to over-study for things just to make sure she was fully prepared for whatever end of term exams would throw at her. That method had worked well for her the last few years and she had managed to stay relatively calm, but because the OWL exams were a big part of her future, Ginny couldn't seem to be able to stay calm about them. She was a good student, so she knew she didn't have to worry, but that didn't stop her. In the wizard world, your grades in school basically affected your entire future, which added a lot of extra pressure that was really not welcomed. In the Muggle world, grades were only one aspect, and sometimes the fifteen year old wished that that was the world she lived in. But of course, nothing could replace her love of the wizard world, despite everything that was going on lately. For now, however, she wasn’t going to worry about the dark times they were entering into until she had to and was instead going to focus on keeping her good reputation with the professors. So, rather than let anxiety overcome her, Ginny was preparing early in advance, hoping that it would help keep her nerves at bay.
That was why she was currently sitting on a bench on the front lawn of Hogwarts in her school uniform with her wand out and a charms book open in front of her. It was open to the page detailing the charm they had been practising in class the last few weeks, and though it wasn't really difficult, Ginny had not fully perfected it yet and that fact was irking her. Charms was one of her best subjects, where she could perform every single charm Professor Flitwick threw at them on the first or second try. That, however, had also been back when they were learning more basic spells; now, they were entering into the more complex spells, and though Ginny was still one of the best in the class, she wanted to make sure she got it down pat. She was headstrong and motivated like that, determined to succeed and not accept failure without a fight. She had been out there for the last half an hour, and had been flipping back and fourth between that one spell, and reviewing the others they had been learning. Her natural ability was making her practice seem worthless, but in her mind, that wasn't the case. Plus, it was always good to keep ahead of the game so she didn’t have so much to worry about when the time came to study for the OWLs. She had a good study method that had worked for her for the last four years, and she wasn’t about to abandon that any time soon.
Her mother had always told her that practice makes perfect, and Ginny had grown up listening to those words, following them and discovering the truth behind them throughout her fifteen years of life. They had come particularly handy during the last few years at school. She heard people behind her, and turned for a moment to see if she recognized anyone, the turned back towards her book. Then, after making sure nobody could see her, she pointed her wand straight forward. [color= she said quietly, letting a happy memory fill her head and watching as white mist came floating out of the end of her wand, taking the shape of a horse. Smiling with satisfaction, Ginny kept her wand pointed at her fully formed patronus, watching as it galloped around the small seating area she was sitting in, careful not to let anyone see it. She wasn’t supposed to have learned that spell yet, but thanks to her membership in the DA and Harry’s guidance, she had learned it quite well and would surely impress her professors when the time came to learn them and she could already cast it perfectly.
